Description
Two surprising stories: The first, L’Épave (The Wreck), takes place on the sea. A young man meets an English family on a piece of wreckage, near La Rochelle. These characters share an intense moment, alone on the sea, in the dead of winter. In the second story, Maupassant recounts The Voyage of the Horla, a trip in a dirigible. The passengers fly up and away one summer evening. Through them, we see the north of France from above, magnificent illumination, and an unbelievable feeling of lightness.
